Hey girls,
Is anyone interested in a Mums and Mates meet up?
Since we all seemed to enjoy getting together for the last one....and also I though maybe we could invite our other mum friends to come along too? Sheree and I mentioned it to some of our friends and they all said "Oh I wish you had told us, we would have loved to have come..." LOL
I was thinking maybe late next month? How does a Monday sound again? Weekends no good, because (probably like most of us) they are the only days Hubby is home so I'm happy to arrange it for a weekend, but I cant come.
And around 12noon again? It seemed like a good time. :) Same place? (Its free and no one will glare at our bubs crying, or wanting to crawl around or run around!)
So what do you think ladies? All in favor..........
Same as last time.......once I have an idea of who wants to come I'll PM everyone! :)

Fantastic idea!! we will be there for sure weekends are no good for me either so monday sounds good!! Same place same time and same wheather that really worked well last time!! Just let us know the details and i will let my friends know and we will be there!!!:D

We had such a great time at the last get together, it was so nice meeting new people and relaxing in the sun.
I have mentioned it to a few of my friends and they are really keen aswell. I was telling them about all the nice food that eveyone took along, the muffins, croissants, biscuits..... hmm maybe they just want to come for the food LOL
Look forward to seeing everyone.:D

Awwww I was looking forward to seeing you! If it's any consolation, I too don't drive :thumbsdown: The earliest I can get to the city is 10.15am and have to leave to get the bus by 2.30pm so I am really stuck with times aswell.

Aww Kristy! Thats the only thing that i didnt like about the gardens was the busses!

It was my second go so yeah. But its so much better to be able to drive myself places!

I live in gagebrook but would be going to town for the meeting so if you live around there it wont be any trouble,makes it hard with out a licence i know what its like i have only had my fir the last monthe

Sorry I could not make it, it is just very hard for me at that location.. maybe another time we could meet somewhere else? :)
:smiliedance: it was really good there were 6 of us there but it was a beautiful day the bubs got a bit tierd near the end but thats just typical when mums having fun:laughing: . Well next time we will have to go to adiffrent place so everyone can come along. Hope to see you all again soon.:thumbsup:

Hi everyone!
I can't believe I completely forgot about it!
I bumped into Codysmummy in another thread and she mentioned the meet and I just went AARRGGHH!!!!! I've had such a busy week with getting ready for Immy's birthday on Sunday (her birthday is on Monday though). We're just having a casual bbq with family and friends and not making too much fuss with "party" stuff. Just a good excuse to have people around which we just love doing! There'll be a cake and some lolly bags for the kids but otherwise I'm just going to pull out the box of bubbles and let the kids run around and play.
Oh, another explaination for the forgetfulness.........notice anything different??!! :D

I was due with Immy when she was due with Prince Christian until things happened and she had him early.

Nah, haven't tried anything yet. DH is pretty keen to give one thing in particular a try, I'm sure you can guess which one, he's a male after all:rolleyes:

Still nothing happening really, had a few stronger BH contractions when we were shopping but I came home and had a rest and they went away, she's teasing me! I should be more patient, she's not due til Saturday.

Aww! Isn't Imogen such a lovely name?! It's one we hadn't heard in a while which is why it appealed I think! Do you have a middle name chosen? We have Imogen Adele. Good luck & :fingerscrossed: she comes before the weekend!

The baby is engaged now so that's looking hopeful, the midwife got me to make an appointment for next week but she's pretty sure I won't need it.
Anna- we hadn't heard the name Imogen for ages either, I told DH about it and he liked it straight away ( that was way before we knew we were having a girl), took us ages to pick a boys name, and we still haven't decided so we better be havign a girl! Her middle name is Rosa
