Police search for missing Melb girl

Updated: 06:40, Sunday June 19, 2011Victoria police are searching for a two year old Melbourne girl - Alana Martin.

Her mother took her from a supervised visit in Sandringham.
Police are concerned for the welfare of Alana.
She has light brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a purple and pink dress.
Her 20-year-old mother, Kira Dalton-Shiels is described as having long black hair and a thin build.




How can that happen? It was supervised contact! How can that happen in a supervised visit?

Oh no.
Thats so sad that she was taken but so sad that she might be in danger from her mother, and sad that the mum had to take her own child! ....

I hope they are both ok and that the mum gets help.

And..she could have said she was taking her to the toilet...and just taken her.
