Hello!
DH and I are currently cuddled up in front of the heater looking at prams online :goodvibes:
We are wanting to get a travel system and apparently not all steelcraft striders take the capsule?! Can anyone tell me what the latest strider is? What's the difference between a strider 4 and a strider DLX or plus ?!
Many thanks!!

Hey,
Strider 4 is pretty much same pram as DLX & plus in looks wise.
You can't use capsule with it though.
The DLX you can & also bassinette but you can't add another seat for 2kids.
The plus is able to be fitted with another
seat for 2nd child, & also can use capsule / bassinette.
I would get the Strider plus if you are planning more after this bub.

I owned Strider 4 till I got preg again & upgraded to Plus now I have 2nd on way.
The back wheels are wide, but I've gotten used to them, I just use wheelchair check outs at some shops eg big w
(or most lovely staff just take me up service desk)

Check out website & it will show you the attachments & ways the seats can be fitted

Ok cool thanks so much! How did you find the leg room for your older child? That metal bar seems pretty short?

My DS2 hasn't been born yet
But I've had my DS & friends DS both about 18months at the time in it & they were fine.

But not sure what metal bar you are talking about?

Other prams to look at that are the same lay out are iCandy Pear & Baby Jogger City Select.

Your suppose to have heaviest child in top.
But I will be having bub in top till about 4 months I think then swap back around.
Bottom can take 15kg & my DS only 13.5
(but I have known people to put child that was 20kg)

Do you know if these are compatible with capsules?

I mean the foot rest (that is sort of round), maybe doesnt seem that a child would be able to be in it or as long as another pram?

And just for interests sake, do you know if you can put 2 capsules in the plus? Or only 1 capsule with 1 seat

I have the plus. My ds1 sits in the top. He is 3.5 n his feet are theoretically longer than the foot rest but he bends his knees a little to sit his heels on. I think u can now get a silver plus which has a longer top seat for bigger kids... wish it was around when I bought mine. Only 1 capsule fits on top however the 2nd seat reclined flat for another baby to lay in.
I love my strider plus!

no you cannot use 2 capsules, you can only use 1 capsule (in the top part) and the bottom seat.

if you were wanting to use 2 capsules you may be better looking at the Baby Jogger City Select, which has more seating combinations than the Strider

good luck choosing a pram its all very exciting (and confusing)
