I have never been there but from what I have heard it's not a great area. But maybe have a drive there and have a look. I heard it's like bridgewater.

I'm just saying what I heard, I have never been there so I can't say I have seen it with my own eyes. I came from sydney so my view on things will also be different. I liked lindisfarne, rosny and all those surrounding places. I would stay away from bridgewater, gagebrooke, rokeby, clarendon vale, glenorchy ( although it's not that bad) risidon vale. Thats all I can think off.

My dp lives in glenorchy and it's not that bad. He said bagdad seems okay too.. But he also sees things thru rose colored glasses ... And beer goggles too ATM lol

I agree with partyof5 Bagdad & Bridgewater are very different. Bagdad is a very small town, but not too far to comute to Hobart. My family are nearby, my niece & nephew went to Brighton Primary (state school) but now travel to Sacred Heart in Lenah Valley for secondary. There are no catholic schools close to Bagdad.

Bagdad is a nice quiet small place and your nearest catholic school would be st pauls at bridgewater
