My friend has let me borrow her sling - It is a polar fleece Peanut Shell that I love. However, DS2 is living in it. I have to eat with him in it sometimes & he has also started doing explosive poos & I am worried I will stain her sling. So I bought myself one but it is an adjustable Peanut Shell (in the hope DP could also wear it). For love or money I can not get DS in it. It just doesnt seem to sit right. Anyone else had this problem? I am hoping i havent just wasted $80

I'm not familiar with it but maybe try youtube, seems SO many baby carrier videos on there! Too many actually...

I'm not familiar with it either but you could try http://groups.google.com/group/baby-carriers-downunder - an Au/NZ group of lovely mamas, or www.thebabywearer.com, who also have super helpful ladies

Thanks ladies - I have 'youtube'd it and they make it look so easy!

I think it is just because I am used to my other one, it will take a bit of practice (it doesnt help when DS2 arches his back & straightens his legs either!)

I must admit, I was at an ABA meeting a girl had the new Peanut Shell and I tried to help her with it and it just didn't seem quite right....

I find the rails (where the padding it) to be a little too loose at times and the adjustment to be a little fiddly...

You could email / phone Babes in Arms (they distribute it) asking them a question how to sort that out - and they will be more than happy to help.

Yeah, that is exactly what I am having trouble with. The one my friend lent me is a peanut shell but it is just the one piece of material (no rails, padding etc) and it is so easy to use. I should have just bought the same one.

It was Babes in Arms that I bought it from so I might email them, thanks!
