Bye Bye Brownies

Today, i decided that I would bake us a special treat! I spent ages choosing something that sounded extra yummy and fattening... Macadamia Fudge Brownies...:D
I then went and bought the ingredients... came home... made the Brownies... baked them for just the right amount of time... pulled 'em out the oven thinking what a great job I did, and how much I wanted to hoe in...
sat it on the stove top... walked away...

...was chatting to my hubby, (hmmm... I smell something burning... no, I definately took the brownies out of the oven...) back to the conversating.... (hmmm... I'm sure something is burning... nope brownies are definately out of the oven, I can see them from here...) .... chatting away...
I see smoke... HOLY ****!! the brownies are smoking!!

The freaking hotplate was on and I had sat my beautiful brownies on it!!
