i was wondering what was the earliest a HPT has shown a BFP?? and what brand ??

Usually you can get a BFP 10-14 days past ovulation. It took closer to 12 days for me on the dipstick kind.. I forget the brand, apparently they are more accurate sooner than the urine stick ones. The dipsticks take some getting used to but worked a treat for me :D

I got some off ebay the pregnow tests and they say 7 days after conception, i just thought that would be very early and hardly get a result ?? :confused:

I got a BFP with DD on 9dpo with the fortel brand from coles.

I think the deal with the early test ones is that they can detect earlier but it depends really on when the egg implants and the levels of hormones it is giving off at any one point. For instance it might say you can test 7 days before AF is due which would be about 7dpo, but implantation might not take place until, say even 12dpo and then it can take a day or two before the hormones get to a detectable level so it might still not show up a BFP until AF is due...
hope all that made sence!

Im not one to really say much on the subject though, my first TWW I started testing about 6dpo :o and did about every day after that until AF came :laughing:

NicoleE - I think you've hit the nail on the head. The HPT's that are advertised as an early response still rely on the fact that EVERYONE implants by 7dpo... which we bubhubbers all know is totally false and an unreliable 'fact.'

I got my BFP on 12dpo using a Pregnow test. But - I should point out - that only on 14dpo was the line really really visible - it was incredibly faint on both 12 and 13dpo...
