regular periods on clomid????

HI, just wondering if anyone knows when you are taking clomid should it make your periods regular? My periods are very irregular ranging from 35-6o days. This month was my first month on clomid and i O around the time that i was suppose to, but i haven't got my AF yet? I am up to D31??
Anyone with any ideas? Thanks

I have a blood test next week for preg test? that is if AF don't arrive before

Wow thats a large jump each month, 35 to 60 days!

Unfortunately I dont think clomid makes your periods regular, just helps you ovulate. You might want to mention it to your gyno when you go back.

i pretty sure clomid is only to help increase the chance of mature eggs and ovulate. but saying that i was highly irregular before ttc#1 (like hardly got my period) and once put on clomid got it like clockwork:confused: . after dd was born i got af every 2or so mths ()most regular i hav ever been. when we decided to ttc#2 i was put on clomid again and again they came like clockwork only this time since the birth of ds af hasnt returned at all.
so all in all i really dont know.

Im not sure really but my first cycle of Clomid (last month) went pretty much like clockwork and I had a 29 day cycle... this 2nd cycle is looking like it could be more like a 40 day cycle! They didnt think I would O this time but I had a scan this morning that shows a maturing folicle which should be ready to pop around Wednesday (better late than never I suppose!)
