Hi Thermolicious

I am a student midwife based in the Rockingham area, and would have loved to take up your offer but unfortunately student midwives are required to work with and under the supervision of a registered midwife. As we are not yet fully qualified we would be unable to be there with you on our own.

I'm not certain if trainee doula's have the same requirements, but hopefully someone else can confirm for you.

Doulas are under their own discretion as to where they work, for student doulas it may depend on the course but I was always happy to attend freebirths :) if I were closer if love to be able to support you. Good luck with finding someone and I hope your birth is all you hoped for :goodvibes:
