Hi,
Hoping you can help me . . .
I know everyone is different but roughly what did your belly look like 2 weeks post birth?
I have an event I *must* attend roughly 2 weeks after I deliver.
I have not put on any weight (yet) anywhere besides my belly.. so very paranoid it will still be sticking out by a mile and I will be the obvious "very new mum" of the crowd.

My dress maker is waiting for finish my dress until a few days before the event (SPANKS will be worn;))

Feeling very insecure as there will be a lot of photographers/high profile people there :(

Could you have a semi-flat looking belly 2-3 weeks post baby with the help of spanks? :p

It looks kinda like playdoh and feels like jelly. I was able to look like a normal person with sucky in undies on :p

Its hard to say. With my first son i had a large belly for ages. But this time it went pretty quickly, my belly was larger this time.

I had my pre baby belly back at 2 weeks with DS, but I should add that I am slim and with DS I didn't gain extra fat, my bump was all baby. If you're slim there is a chance you might be ok 2 weeks post birth.

I have just a small pudge of a belly if I wear spanks.

You're gonna hate me but my belly went flat almost instantly.. i always had a bit of a belly but i was told i didnt look like i just had a baby. But now its all droopy and i wear shapewear to make it look normal. I got mine from best and less for $14 and it works pretty well.

My first two I had that pudgy soft kind of tummy for a few weeks, like stretched skin kind of taking it's time getting back to normal. But after the third it went back to normal pretty much straight away. I went to an event when DD2 was 5 days old, wore control pants and I have to say, they work wonders!

Keep in mind

mine was prett saggy and podgy still 2 weeks after but i gained about 25kilos when pregnant:eek: it didnt take too long to loose it though, 3 months down the track and im back to normal pretty much (still a little bit of soft saggy skin) to be honest im amazed at how quickly our bodies can bounce back!

i think youll be fine, even if you do gain alot of weight, like others have said those control pants work wonders!

I had my pre-pregnancy flat tummy back within the first week. By two weeks, the only thing that would let you know I'd ever been pregnant was the line running down my belly...my skin and everything was back to normal. That said, I only gained 10kg and was back to my pre-preg weight of 50kg by the second day post labour. It's different for everyone...I never expected to bounce back so quickly! Breastfeeding also helps if you are going that route because it contracts your uterus quicker than not.

I was flat belly pretty quickly. Just separated muscle (still there 2yrs later) saggy loose soft skin.

It's my phone & I'll cry if I want to.

What the heck are Spanks? :)

I looked normal by the time I got home from hospital, although admittedly I was wearing a Belly Bandit. ;)

Everyone is different. I still had a little belly, but those control pants you can buy are great. You can get the ones that go right up under your boobs. The give you a very smooth body line under a dress.
