Hi everyone, my DS was born with 2 teeth just below the gum and when I mean just below I mean they're more white than pink gum. It's not the front teeth either but I think the ones next to the lower eye ones. He's almost 5 weeks old now and I have noticed a change in his behavior again. Is it possible that he's teeth will come through this early? Can I do anything for him? Are the amber necklaces able to be worn this young? I know it is unusual for him to be born with them as he's surprised all the midwives, drs and all the rellies but I just want to try and ease his pain. Any ideas?

It's not unusual for babies to be born with teeth but it definitely isn't very often. I think you could use the necklace just tie around his foot. I think he will be to early for teething drops etc but check with your pharmacist. Maybe just panadole? It's all I use.

A close friends dd was born with teeth actual cut through the gum teeth.
You could see my dd's teeth through her gums from 6 weeks, they went all white/clearish, but they didn't cut until she was 6.5 months.
I found she liked to suck on things very hard, which I guess eased her pain, I think we started using the necklace at around 3.5 months.
