Dry scalp?

Hey quick question, my 8 week old son has a really dry/flakey scalp even though I use Gaia products. Any suggestions?

I would stop using any products on his hair, natural or not, and allow the natural oils to build up.

If he has a bit of cradle cap almond oil applied to his head and gently massaged in each evening and then massage it with a soft baby brush in the bath in the morning to try and move it. Might take a few days (took 4 days of this with DD) but once its gone it usually stays away :)

Could it be the beginning of cradle cap?
I treated my baby's cradle cap with baby shampoo n lathered it up for a few minutes to soften it and then get a head lice comb n comb the shampoo through. It should pick up all of the dry skin. They also suggest vaseline to soften the crusty bits but I the shampoo worked for me.

Definitely not cradle cap, just a bit of dandruff. I've stopped actually washing his hair over the last week and it has improved. Might try some oil and brushing too, thanks!
