Hi Everyone,
My name is Catherine and I am a first year Midwifery student at ACU in Melbourne. As part of our study we complete a Follow Through Journey that involves supporting 20 pregnant women over our three years of study.
As a student my role is to provide woman-centred support during your pregnancy, birth and early parenting journey, while obtaining the life experience I need to become an outstanding midwife. I will be supervised by a qualified midwife mentor, who you will also get the opportunity to meet.
I am located in the Ivanhoe/ Heidelberg area, however I also spend alot of my time in Fitzroy, Hawthorn and also on the Mornington Peninsula. If you're not located in these areas I'm sure we will still be able to come to an arrangement as I am happy to travel.
To be involved in the program you must be less then 35 weeks pregnant, and you are free to pull out of the program at anytime.
