I am wondering if anyone has sulfate intolerance and hence had to be cautious to which contraceptive they have had to use.
I found out today that the IUD that my Ob prescribed has Barium Sulfate and pharmacist wants me to check with Ob before selling it to me.
My question is, has anyone, with sulfate allergies used an IUD and whether it was successful or did it cause problems?
My symptoms to sulfates are that I get migraines and ill health from foods and red wine. I have also had severe vomiting and very ill from Iron tablets that contained sulfate that were taken whilst pregnant for 2 weeks.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
