I know it's not really working from home...but wondering if anyone does it for some income?

I know in the past there were various ways of being paid eg so much per piece/s and some places really tried to rip workers off.

My son used to do local papers, which were a pain as the bundles were so big and I'd have to pick them up and stuff inserts in if there were any.

Just wondering what going rates might be.

Thanks for any info.

My dh does this for extra cash. Depending on how many pamphlets and how big an area. Eg: a bundle of 3 pamphlets over 850 houses gets him $46. Takes him about 2 hours to deliver. So it's jot too bad, but if u have to fold them as well it's not worth it as that adds another 2 hours easily!!

I deliver pamphlets with my DD in the pram. The rate varies based on the difficulty of the area - hilly areas pay more. You get paid per pamphlet, with 2nd & subsequent pamphlets paid at 50% of the rate. I don't see it as income so to speak - it's a little money to help with the bills, but mostly it gets me & DD out of the house, and I get exercise.
