Shortened Cervix anyone?

I am currently 29 weeks 1 day and have been having regular scans to check cervical length due to having a previous LLETZ procedure. I've been mainly hovering around the 2.5cm mark for the last 6 weeks but yesterday's scan showed it is now 1.8cm. Have been put on complete bed rest at home and meds have been increased to try and stall any preterm labour.

Has anyone else had a shortened cervix early in the 3rd trimester and how did you go? I know everyone is different but any insight is welcome.

I started to shorten around 26 weeks. Made it to 28 weeks with the help of medications & bed rest.


It's my phone & I'll cry if I want to.
