I have nothing to wear!! :gloomy: I own one pair of maternity jeans (gave mine to my sister and she conveniently "lost" them) and they are the only thing that fit me. I am sitting here in my jammies ATM waiting for the washing machine to finish so that I can wash another load of clothes and wash my jeans.
I do have a couple of dresses that fit me, but it isn't warm enough for dresses yet. I also have a pair of maternity slacks, but my stomach isn't big enough for them yet, so they look all baggy in the front. My sister did find a couple of my old maternity dresses and has given them back to my mum to give to me, but I don't know when I'll next be seeing my mum (never if I had my way).
This is the one thing I hate about pregnancy, nothing to wear!!! I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl, everything Big W and K-Mart (only place around for 150km that sells maternity clothes) sell for pregnant women would make me feel cheap...it's all too revealing or it costs a blasted fortune.

aaww....Mandy, you're too kind, thankyou. But keep them for yourself for when you next have another baby.
I just feel so down in the dumps about it, had to vent a little. I'm so mad at myself for giving everything away and at my sister for not looking after my stuff or giving it back if she wasn't going to use it.
I don't have any tracksuits...been doing the rounds of the op shops but having found any that will fit...all size 10's, lol. Don't have a belly belt either, should probably get one. I do have a piece of elastic that I put button holes and buttons on and I was using it on my jeans, but none of my shirts are long enough and everyone can see my undies, lol.

if it makes u feel any better angel im a jeans and tshirt person too im only 8 weeks and i cant fit into my jeans anymore. On sat my hubby and i were supposed to go out to celebrate our anniversery it took me half an hour to get into a pair of jeans. They were so tight and uncomfortable it took me another half an hour to take them off. I was so depressed. I know u put on weight but i didnt think u can put on so much weight by 8 weeks. now i have to go out and buy bigger sizes all my clothes are too tight.

Angel, I have been living in my beloved trackies that I bought, because they are the only comfy clothes that I have to wear!.. I am sure there must be some trackies out there in your size!

Well, I ended up wearing one of my dresses.......it's 12 degrees and I'm in a dress!!! Need to get my jeans washed and dried so I can get changed.
Will go and check out the op shops again later too. Has to be something out there that I can fit into.

I'm in the same boat as you, angel. I only fit into one pair of jeans, and that's with the fly & one button undone.
I am hoping to win a bellybelt off eBay so I can look a lil more descent. I have 2 summer dresses too but it's too cool to wear them here too. I'm stuck! I have checked out opshops and there's not much out there. I'm thinking that I am going to have to buy a maternity denim skirt and a dressy dress from a proper maternity place just as staples. It is so frustrating! I totally feel for you and feel just the same. :hugs:

oh you poor thing, I do know what you mean, though at least I have my belly tube.
I do have a pair of jeans in my shop that are too short for me, if you are interested, I can take a picture of them, but would have to know what size you are lol...

same here - only i'm now 6months pregnant and stil have no clothes... I've been living in my long skirts, and wearing one top over my boobs, and wrapping another top (or wrapped around scarf) around my belly or most days, my belly sticks out for all to see cos i have nothing that will cover it.
I'm a size 6, so i definantely cant wear any of my normal clothes, and money is so tight around here, its more of a priority to me to get things for bubs instead of matrnity clothes, so i understand how you feel, I've had quite a few days where I've just balled my eyes out because i just want to look nice y'know, feel comfortable.
The good news is though that it'll all be worth it! Wen I'm holding my little bubs, not having maternity clothes will be the last thing on my mind (:fingerscrossed: that I go back to my normal size after bubs so i can go back to wearing my normal clothes! I miss my jeans heaps!!)
Oh, if you say you're only 8 weeks, can you stil fit in your jeans if you dont do them up? And then wrap a top or a scarf around the section where the fly would be, this was a handy trick that worked for me up until I was about 5 months....
:hugs:
good Luck and I hope you feel better, remember it'll all be worth it!

OH HUNNY!!! okay first thing to do is get onto EBAY!!! type in maternity and shop away, honestly really cheap and really great, my heavily pg friend just bought 3 UNREAL pairs of maternity jeans (1 brand new from pumkin patch), get on there now :smiliedance:
hmm I must be looking in the wrong place, I have been checking ebay for the past few weeks, and have only found either cheap ****, or expensive nice stuff, and if I am going to spend that much money, then I want to try it on first.
We are going down the coast for the weekend, and I tried on my swimmers last night, boardshorts, well no way they fit anymore, so I try on the top, and even that doesnt fit, so now i have to try and find some swimmers, and seeing as I am going through summer with this pg, I guess I might as well spend a bit more and get some maternity ones...

Might have a look on ebay once I get all these bills out of the way. It's just so depressing though. Haven't been able to get into my regular jeans for 6wks now, such a pain in the rear (seeing as it is my rear that is part of the problem, LOL).

I'm gonna have a look on ebay myself for some Maternity type clothes. I think I would rather find some sort of trackies or something comfy to wear. Im not really a dress person... Just trackies and a top does me at this point! *L*

I bought some clothes on ebay and was dissapointed. Just be careful that they really are maternity clothes you are buying, even though they are listed in the maternity section I got some shirts that were described as "maternity" but they were just stretchy fabric! No actual "belly room". pfft. I got a refund from one seller, the others I kept because it was only cheap and will probably do me till about 4 months.
And the stuff from beautiful bellies was asian made so its terribly small. But they did their best to exchange for me.
I haven't let it put me off though, I'll keep looking. There seems to be quite a few reputable materinity sellers on there.
I did buy some of those bellybands, not the belt that clips onto your clothes, just the fabric that covers the gap, looking forward to being able to use them.
I did find one australian website from a seller on ebay that is a bit dear but has nice stuff, they are offering 20% online orders for september - www.manjojammaternity.com.au
