How long does it take?

For teeth to fully come through? I've just today discovered 2 little front top teeth on 8 month old DS!

So, a couple of questions:

1. How long, from when the tooth breaks through the gum, does the tooth take to come all the way down?

2. Should DS no longer be in pain now that the tooth has actually broken through the gum?

3. Should I still give him bonjela/teething relief, or is it no longer neccesary now the tooth has broken free?!

4. How long should it be until his next teeth come through? And aren't the bottom front teeth 'meant' to come through first? :confused:

So...I had more than a couple of Q'S! LOL

I think it's different with each bub tbh. If he still looks to be in pain then I'd continue to put bonjela on the gum as it could still be quite inflamed.

Some kidlets will go through the tooth coming through and then going back down and then coming through again :freakingout:

There's no set way that teeth should come through, 'most' kids get their front teeth first, that's not to say that many others get different ones in before their front.
