QLD Birth Certificate

I just received Cobey's birth certificate (and fluffy mail at the same time.. many smiles here! :smiliedance:)

Anyway, I got 2 birth certs.. sent seperately. I only paid for one, and so I don't know why I have 2.
I'm not complaining, but I was just wondering.. do you normally get 2 or did they just do Cobey's twice (rego number, registrar and dates are all the same, just the little number at the top is different)

Yay! Off to the bank soon!!! (Maybe tomorrow's adventure?)

Not the pretty and the standard? You get the standard free when you buy the pretty one... Although ours arrived in the same cylinder...

Nope, we didn't get a pretty one, just the standard.... which I had to pay for, because we didn't get a pretty one. heh.
They arrived in 2 seperate envelopes..

i thought we got 2 sent us too by mistake when ds1's came in the mail lol but DP had to explain to me that we had ordered the pretty one and the normal one and we got the normal one free :laughing:
maybe they thought you need a spare one :D

We just got one.

I know this is going to sound stupid...but have you checked both very carefully to make sure one doesn't have a mistake in and the other one they sent was the corrected on?

I checked... the registration numbers are the same but the document numbers (up the top right hand corner) are different.. and there's a reference number on the back of both of them which is the same.

Very weird... I'm wondering if it's because I ticked the box for the standard one, so they sent me the standard one and then one free :laughing: does that make sense?
Because you only get a standard one free if you get a pretty one... I thought... :eek:
