is your baby celiac?

Is your child celiac? Both my babies have been diagnosed with cmpi and soy intolerance however I'm wondering if they ( my ds especially) are celiac. They both had bloody stools. My ds is on a dairy soy free diet however he still has chronic diarrhea that smells awful, bloated stomach, rash on his cheeks and arms and is quite irritable at times... Does this sound plausible? Should I get him tested? Since going on pepti junior formula both have improved, dd is perfectly normal now but I still can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with ds even though my gp and paed say he is doing well....

Anyone? Someone must know something about celiac disease and symptoms... Ds also sometimes has gritty sand like grainy particles in his poo... Sorry tmi.

I'm not up on the babies being celiac but my DH is going dwn the track of finally being tested. He's suffered bloody stools for 3yrs we took him off gluten but he still bleeds and the drs are hopeless! We were told just to live with it! We moved to SA and ended up in ED and he had his apendix out to rule it out it was enlarged but not causing the blood. He's getting a colonoscopy in June. Not that any of that applies to you, maybe see a specialist and get it sorted, it's a very serious condition HTH
