Hi Ladies,

I apologise in advance if this thread upsets anyone as i know what a sensative subject this can be for us all. Yesterday i found out that i had Mc and this is something i had had a couple of weeks to prepare for. I had been bleeding heavily for 11 days now and even though the scan dated me at 6 wks and 2 day and there was a foetal heartbeat the bleeding just got heavier, and i always felt different, i couldn't get excited as much as i'd expected, its like i knew this pregnancy wouldn't be viable.

I guess now i have some questions as my DH was very disappointed and now wants to know how long it will take for us to concieve again????

So there are two questions really,
How long will it take to concieve? ( i know everyone is different, but in general how long does it take??

Has anyone had a DnC and concieved quicker?

Opps this will make three.....the ultrasound man said i had polysistic ovaries, can anyone shed some light on what that might mean for me???

I am back to the doc this morning with these same questions but i find my GP not that much help and chatting to you all on here has been so much more beneficial as i like to hear other ppl's stories who may have gone through a similar time to me.

I have also done a bit of reading on polysisitic ovaries and its not great, but i shall wait and see what the doc says.

Thanks again girls for you help and i do apologise if anyone finds this post insensative, i guess this is how i deal with my grief and i want a baby so desperatly that i will just keep ttc again.

Stay calm (although I know it is hard).

We fell pregnant within a month with our first angel. After we lost her, I had a D&C and it took 4 months for us to fall next time around.

It can be so easy to become so focussed on trying to get pregnant again so take things as they come and give yourself time to heal - both physically and emotionally.

I'm so sorry for your loss.:hugs:

first.. sorry to hear of your loss, i know its a horrable thing. hopefully there are plenty of people around to support you.
second.. i mc in october last year, and was pregnant again in janurary, and now due for bub in 3 weeks. so it happened kinda quick.
BUT.. remember you need to let your body recover first, its just been through so much, just let it get bk to normal. they say 3 months, to completly get over the mc.
good luck to you. hope things works out.

sorry about what happened. i just gave birth through emergency c section on 7-28-06. didnt have a dnc but nevertheless went through labor. i was 24 weeks and jaden only lived 20 hours. however, it is now 10-6-06 and i found out 2 days ago im pregnant. 2 months later. they say to wait at least 6 months to a year (thats what ive heard) after what happened to me, and i was on birth control, yet im pregnant now. so it can be done very soon. i doubt this pregnancy will last, as i serioulsy doubt my body is ready this soon. but just letting you know my opinion. good luck with everything.

Im really sorry to hear about your loss :hugs:
I recently m/c at the start of september, and am currently 5 weeks pregnant  (i know fast hey!!)
The first 2 m/c i had the d&c and it took a lil while till i conceived Tristan. But this time no d&c, and we didnt wait to try again. So in saying this it could take a while or you could be like me and fall pregnant straight away.....
:fingerscrossed: its straight away tho, Good Luck!!!

I am also Sorry to hear about your loss :hugs::kiss:

I am the same as Mum&bubs i had a M/C and never got another period as i feel virtually straight away. Caleb was that baby and he is now 4.

My OB also told me that straight after a M/C or Birth are your most fertile time. Hope that helps.
