Growth spur? Or not...

My baby is 3 weeks old and he has been observing a routine of 3 hours feeding in the last 2 weeks but today, he's feeding every 30 minutes n not sleeping at all during the day. I put him down in his cot when he dozeoff after feeding and he would wake up
crying and wanting to feed again.. It continued from 11am to 5 pm.

I managed to put him to sleep at 8 pm and he is finally in deep sleep.. But he woke up once and cried and cried..

Is he not feeling well? I read that growth spur will make a baby feed non stop and Become cranky.

Is he having a growth spur? If so, how long will a growth spur last?

A growth spurt can last up to a week, but i have found its only bad for a day or 2.

Could he be a bit windy? You could try a colic massage- there are pics on youtube, after having him float in a warm deepish bath. That works really well to settle my bub for a good sleep if she is uncomfortable or overtired. Hth
