I proposed to my DH :smiliedance:

Our birthdays are 1 week apart, so I booked a dinner at a fancy waterfront restaurant we had been wanting to go to, and told him I wanted to go out to dinner for our birthdays.

I had bought a Tag Hauer watch, in lieu of an engagement ring, as I wanted him to have something to wear everyday, and something that would last a lifetime.

I proposed between main meal and dessert. Can't even remember what I said. I didn't get down on one knee though :laughing:

DH said it was the coolest thing anybody had every done for him, and he was p!ssed by the end of the night and told everybody that he saw, including our taxi driver, that we were engaged.
