Can anyone tell me if you have used e-tax and how to go about claiming baby bonus and what was the maximum amount anyone has paid upon refund.

Oh no sorry this is the baby bonus for children born between year 2001-2004

i do it each year, quite simple download baby bonus etax and then make sure you have your tax file number handy along with last years claim etc as you need the base year etc that written on it, then put all your details in, very easy i get the min amount $500

I have never had to use this as i have never had kids before the maternity payment came in but when i was doing E-Tax there was something in there about claiming the baby bonus and you just follow the prompts when you get to it (Its at the end somewhere and was told the most you get is $500 from someone thats on this system) Sorry i cant be more help

I have been using e-tax for quite a few years after i heard many of my colleagues using it. I am very happy with it and have gotton bigger returns this way than going to a tax agent. Yes as you go along there is a section on the baby bonus - i think the min is around $5oo if you read the notes they have it explains everything
