We are a couple who have been trying to have our dearly wanted family for the last two years, and have now been advised that our only option is to try to find an egg donor. If you have finished your family, are under 35 years of age and would be interested in helping us, please write to PO Box 2455, Fountain Gate Vic 3805. All travel and medical expenses will be reimbursed.
This advertisement has been approved by the Victorian Minister for Health, as required by s.40 of the Human Tissue Act 1982 (Vic)(April 2005).
As we are from Melbourne, we have to place the above approved ad. However, for more details about us please read my post of 26/09. We are also willing to travel interstate to make our dream of creating a family come true.
Kind regards
Jeanette

My husband, Trevor, and I are seeking a generous egg donor to help makes our dreams of being a family come true. We met later in life so my eggs are not suitable. We have tried IUI and IVF but to no avail. We were then advised to seek an egg donor. We advertised in Melbourne's Child magazine and just when we were about to give up, a donor volunteered but that did not work out. We were only recently talking with someone else, but that too has fallen through - she found out she was already pregnant! So here we are hoping for third time lucky:yes: .
We adore each other and our life would be complete if we could have a baby and be a family. We believe we would make great parents because we are such big kids ourselves. Still full of life and adventure, which together with our lifetime of experiences, would enable us to raise a happy, healthy and secure child. We are financially secure and the setbacks we have experienced on our journey have only made our relationship stronger. I think this is because despite the heartache involved, we do our best to make a great life for ourselves and have fun at every opportunity. More importantly, we keep moving forward to make our dream a reality.
Our extended family is large with young nieces and nephews - there is another one on the way, too. So there is always a family get together being organised, which is great because we love to entertain. We also have many get togethers with friends, who have toddlers and babies, so our child would have lots of other playmates as well as many cousins. We are moving into a new house next year, which is large both inside and out, and we would love to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet, not to mention lots of gurgles and squeals of delight (not only from the baby, they would be from us as well!):smiliedance:
We have so much love to give this child and would cherish every moment. If you would like to know more about us we can be contacted at family.forus@hotmail.com, PO Box 2455 Fountain Gate Vic 3805, or by a PM.
Kind regards
Jeanette

Hi Jeanette,
You have touched my heart with your need for a family, and your openess.
It takes a lot of courage for you to do this.
It is so difficult to fing donors (I am currently donating to a lovely couple).
I wish I could help you but the time involved and the distance makes it very difficult.
I hope you have the good fortune to find your angel and your dreams become a reality.
I am wishing for you.

I have had a lovely day today. It is a glorious, sunny day in Melbourne and my husband and I have been walking in our local botancial park, and flitting here and there. We are going out to dinner tonight with some friends to a new restaurant, so we are looking forward to that.
Hopefully, you are right about Springtime - it would be so fitting wouldn't it! I hope you embies are doing well - I am sure they are :smiliedance:

Hi Joanne
We did have a good time the other night. I am feeling much better now - back to my old self. It is so time consuming keeping track of all these sites and I am becoming a forum addict - my husband is calling me 'computer girl'....I really should be out walking off these extra kilos, or keeping a spotless house, or cooking lovely meals.........but all I want for Chrsitmas is the chance to be a mummy........
I hope you are well, keep in touch

Hi Yue Min Che:wave:
Thanks so much for your kind words. It is lovely to hear from someone else rather than just me thinking it. LOL!! Got to keep a sense of humour, otherwise :banghead:
Best wishes with your search. I am sure the determination and passion you show will ensure a donor comes your way soon to fulfill your dreams of being a mum again.
:fingerscrossed: for us all, Jeanette
