How far along were you before you found out?

just wondering how far along you were before you found out you were pregnant?

with my first i was 18 weeks :yes:
i still had my periods and had negative urine and blood tests :banghead:

It came as a bit of a suprise to think i had missed half of my pregnancy

with my second it was 5 weeks

I found out I was pregnant with Summer when I was 8 weeks. My period was very late lol but i was just too scared to get the test to confirm it.

With this bubba we found out at 5 weeks :smiliedance:

With our first we were 16wks - negative blood test, negative HPTs and on & off bleeding. Unfortunately lost that baby at 19wk3d. Harriet we knew 2 days after AF was due - blood test straight away. Just found out that we are pregnant last Friday - AF was due on Tues and I waited until Fri to have HPT and blood test to confirm.

I think I was about 6.5 weeks along when it was confirmed with blood. I had about 6 (-) HPT! :o

I was 4 weeks when I found out, but I thought I was 6 weeks cos of irregular af. Had a scan a couple of days later and I was 4 1/2 weeks. I didn't test earlier cos we'd been ttc for a year and didn't want another BFN so I waited ages before I tested.

I was 5 weeks along. My AF was all over the place, but the sore boobs gave it away! They were what made me go and get a test, then GP confirmed it the day after.

well here is one for the guiness book, my best friend at the age of 19 found out she was pg at 6 1/2 months!!!! yep! was still on the pill, still having her period (very light and all over the place, when she now recalls) :idea: , no morning sickness, no symptoms. Eventually went to the dr at 6.5 months with a sore back:confused: and well the rest is history. She now has a happy and healthy 3 year old little girl!!!

with all 3 I sort of knew that I was pregnant right from the start, I just had that feeling iykwim.

I was very seriously charting, so I knew my Ovulation day, even had implant bleed, and was testing about 4 days after that!!


WIth the other 3 it was around the 6 week mark

My sil, had 5 children, was on the pill, and went to docs cause she was feeling sick all the time.... The doc told her to lie down, and said "do you know your pregnant??" lol, "very pregnant", she was by memory around the 20ish week mark!! with number 6, she didnt get kicks till about 3 weeks after that!! Imagine!!

I found out at 7 weeks as i have a really irregular cycle and we had been trying for a year and had given up using pregnancy tests so just decided that when it happens is happens. I only took the test because someone who didn't know that we were trying heard me complaining of feeling a little off and made the comment "maybe you're pregnant" and I was :yelclap:

I found out when I was 24 weeks :eek: :eek: :eek: as quiet a few of you already know....... I was in shock up until the day I gave birth.....

It all happened so fast, I never noticed cos I use to skip the red pill as I was working 50+ hours a week, and it would be too much of an interference.....felt nauseous and just thought it was due to the lack of sleep, food etc......It was when I started to notice my stomach was moving that I thought I better test, and went for an ultrasound that day which showed how far along I was...

I found out with Ronan when I was 10 days along. Pregnancy tests have come a long way to know that early! I had sore boobs and was chucking everywhere already :barf:

Found out with Ariene at 12 weeks!! :eek: :eek: I had no ms, no other symptoms.. My AF was unpredictable, even on the pill, which I had been taking properly for some time when I fell pg. It was great to find out at the begining of the 2nd trimester- made the rest of the pregnancy fly!

How does this work? I always thought that the doc I saw told us it was a few days less then a f/n (going by the last day of last period thing, I think)... but I'm confused now! hee hee- does this mean that when he was born at 38 weeks, that it's possible he was actually a 40 weeker after all? with my first 3 preg i had fertility help so i knew pretty quickly i was pregnant (m/c the first though). i had ds april '06 and havent had af since. this is nothing out of the ordinary for me. in august i had to hav pap smear and because af hadnt arived dr tested and it was neg. anyway begining of this mth i got really sick and had alot of stomach pain. dr sent me for a gauntlet of tests all neg so next step was an upper abdominal u/s and an endoscopy. i had the u/s last week and found out i dont hav anything wrong i am 4 months pregnant! so ds and this bub will only b 11mths apart.

With DD it was day following AF as my cycles were spot on.

With DS I was just over 9 weeks as I was still bleeding but it wasn't quite like AF - my friend convinced me to test - otherwise I probably wouldn't have found out for a few weeks later!

From memory :o About 12 weeks. I was feeling a little faint and 'different' plus my clothes were getting a little tight:D

One night i was on my way out and i put my jeans on and said to my parents "Did anyone put these in the dryer??" as they were hard to do up....:rolleyes: Anyways when i found out and told my parents my dad said "I knew it!" Because of the tight jeans incident and i replied "Well i wish you'd have let me know!!!" :eek:

I kinda of knew but i was in denial.....

Wow Buddha! You must have been in shock! It's amazing that the tests were negative, how weird! I bet your partner was in shock too! Actually it's good in a way, makes the pregnancy much quicker. (how funny about your dad :laughing: )

22 weeks and one day will never forget it .................negative blood test come back.........my doctor diagnosed my morning sickness as a stomach ulcer............I am now blessed with a beautiful little 9 month old

DD #1: The day after I missed my period.

DD #2: About 4 days before my period was due. I was having a blood test for something else, and the Dr thought he'd just chuck that test in too.

DD #3: The week after my period was due.

DS: I found out I was pregnant the day my period was due. Was told I'd miscarried, then found out I was still pregnant at 11 weeks! :eek:
