BBT Question

Hello. Please tell me when your BBT goes up. What I have read says the day of O it goes up and others say 2 days after O. Do you all still have CM when it goes up or have all your O symptoms gone away by then? My BBT doesnt rise until 2 - 4 days after O. I am worried that maybe I dont have enough progesterone to get the temp up quick enough to sustain a pregnancy. Thanks

Hi Smitten. It usually goes up the day after O. That said, it may not jump up immediately. I thought I was having a high BBT about 2 days after O too. Turns out that officially the two lowish temps after the day I O were both above my baseline pre ovulation temp. Have you tried fertilityfriend.com? I have found it a great way to track my cycle. You get a months free trial. Its helped me clear up a lot of confusion re: my cycle.

In answer to you CM question - I think it cas vart from person to person but usually there is no eggwhite CM when your BBT goes up. I think if you temp is going up and staying up for 10ish days then you should be fine. Have you been TTC for long?

Thanks for reply lucas'mum. Only been trying a couple of months, but there is just so much conflicting information out there. Hopefully some more ladies will reply to my post. I have just joined fertility friend so maybe I can get a few things cleared up before I go insane:banghead:

Stick with FF. I have found it really good. I am on month 4 and hoping I won't get to month 5!! But we'll see soon enough!! Good luck :fingerscrossed:
