Nebuliser tip!

Anyone else have a child who has to use a nebuliser? I just thought i'd share a tip with you that worked for my 2 1/2 yr old DS.

We call it his space man machine and instead of it being a bad thing we make it a special time by reading books together about space men and dragons who also blow smoke, he actually WANTS to sit there for 5 minutes with the mask on!

So anyone who is having trouble with a restless toddler, maybe try this out, worked for us!

Thats great and well done to making a stressful situation positive!
Cant wait until we dont have to fight and hold Hayden down for his....have made excellent progress with the ventolin spacer, I think its the noise of the Neb that scares him more

My husband has fond memories of being a "fighter pilot" when he was younger. He'd wear his dad's bike helmet and sit, ready for take off.. but he HAD to have his "breathing mask" on just like the fighter pilots on TV :)
