aw girls thanks so much! we're about to cut the cake in half an hour when the rellies get here. some days i still look at him and cant believe he is mine. i cant believe this beautiful little baby turned into my beautiful (& boisturous!) little boy so quickly. the whole way through my pregnancy i had this terrible feeling one of us would die during delivery, and after 19 hours i had an emergency caesar and the epidural didnt work but they had to get him out or we both would of died. And now i am just remembering how frightened i was at this exact time 12 months ago and how much it hurt and when i was on the operating table I look into DF's eyes because i honestly thought it was the last time i was ever going to see his face. i felt the whole operation and i still feel so traumatised by it now i cant believe we survived ( the labour AND the sleepless months that followed!! ) and here we are at his 1st birthday!! i'm also so happy that he is growing to be a healthy toddler, and sad because we're not having any more and all these stages are the last ones I'll ever see! :gloomy: waaah im such a sook! i am having one of those emotional moments that mothers seem to have so much more of then when we were pre-babies!! thanks for all the well wishes! :hugs:
