Cheaper by the Dozen 1 Watching this film does it make you want to be a tribe mother ?
reason for my asking is when i watch it i just want to have another where as my friend watched it and said after watching that 2 is it for her. isnt it funny how we all see things differently, i found it beautiful and not stressful.

I love that movie, as does DH, but we have decided that 2 is enough for us. We were just going to have one but have decided to go for a second.

That being said, if we had a huge house & land & money then yeah, we'd have a tribe :D

It does indeed!!! After watching it I want to have a house full of kids...I'd love it!
In my family there are just the 2 of us and I remember going to my cousin's house and there were 5 of them...I thought all my Christmases had come at once - there were kids everywhere!!!
I actually mentioned to DH that I've worked it out and we could fit 8 children in our house...when he comes to I'll let you know what his answer is! :laughing:

I love that movie. I too start thinking silly thoughts when I watch it!

I have 4 atm, 2 boys and 2 girls. I think it is a good mix, but I would love another. Having said that, if we had 1 more, we would probably have 2 more. But I love my car and don't want any other car, and it only has 1 seat left in it, so I probably should just quit while I am ahead!!!

I watch it and would LOVE to have a dozen children! Can't happen physically though! We will have one last bub and will do some foster care... fill our house with children hehe :D

Try watching Yours Mine & Ours (like Cheaper by the Dozen, the original's much better). That should put most people off large families!
