Hi Guys
My DP and I tried our first cycle of ttc via at home insemination on 15 April - so 13 days ago. I know we would be extremely lucky to fall pregnant on our first go, but my partner has been having all these symptoms - well, I think they're symptoms but I don't know if we just want it so badly that we're convincing ourselves that they are when really she just isn't feeling well.
Ok, so about five days after ttc my DP started feeling really nauseous and experiencing some heartburn and her temp was up a bit. At 7 days she got quite bad cramping all across her lower abdomen that lasted for a few hours and then faded to like a dull ache. She described it as feeling like something was inside her and pushing out against her skin. She also got really gassy.
She's been having nausea, gas, heartburn, frequent urination and cramps on and off since about day 7. Ok, so now we're on day 13 and all yesterday she had chills and a bit of a fever, aches and pains and a headache, loss of appetite and she was exhausted - like she went to sleep at 7pm and didn't wake up til this morning. Today she doesn't have a fever but still feels generally unwell and has stayed home from work.
We did break the rules and did a pregnancy test over the weekend and got a BFN but it was only 9 days dpo and I know that is probably too early to test but we had to just get it out of our systems I guess.
Ok, so really what I want to know is do you think we could be pregnant or does this all just sound like she's been getting sick? AF is due on the 4th and we are going to try and wait until then but we do have some tests in the house so our official tww is up on Saturday.
