I'm Kyllie an Aussie Mum of 2 (3½ year old girl and 11½ month old son) and married to a Swede. We are currently living in norhtern Sweden (since Dec 05) for a few years but plan on coming back to Aus to settle permanently sometime in 2008. We will probably end up back in Cairns where we have a home and it's where we both love living!

Getting ready for a cold cold winter over here... 'hold your breath' it reaches minus 35 ouch!

Hoping to make some great friends on this site... can get a bit lonely living in a really small country town with not too many friends!

We recently spent three years in Sweden, in Stockholm. Not quite as cold as the far north, but chilly enough!!

Where are you living? How are you finding life in Sweden?

Oi Hej Hej! only found my way back to this site recently. We are living 10km north of the Arctic Circle in a small village near Jokkmokk.
We have been here for a year now and are experiencing the warmest winter in something like close to 300 years... Stockholm didn't even have snow for winter this year. Luckily we did! Loving life here, it's such a change.
How did you like Stockholm? We spent 3 weeks there this past summer and had a ball doing all the touristy things and visiting some Aussie friends there!
