If my baby is born May 2007 how much baby bonus do we get? (just wondering, we didn't get pregnant for the baby bonus)

Hi, it's $4000 for this financial year and it goes up to $6000 from 1/7/07.

In 2008 it will go up again to $5,000

They increased it by $1,000 over 4 years....
$3,000 in 1st July 2004 to 30th June 2006
$4,000 from 1st July 2006 to 30th June 2008
$5,000 from 1st July 2008.

Then they rethink that budget and decide whether to increase it, decrease it, keep it the same, or end it. :D
