View Full Version : 'adult' deaf kid!!!!!
Is it just mine or has anyone else's 3yr old gone 'adult' deaf.......... its seems to take a elevated voice or me yelling to get her attention to hear me or pay attention.
I know at this age they are in a world of there own......but geessss........its frustrating!!!
anyone................someone...................i cant be the only one :banghead:
I think mine have selective hearing. They can hear me open the biccy jar a mile away but ignore me when its bed time/pickup toy time etc.

Yup, DD1 is exactly the same (gets it from her dear father....;) ). She can't hear me telling her to please do something, but can hear me whisper the word 'chocolate' a mile off!
Don't know what to do short of buying a loud-speaker!

It's selective hearing - but mine learnt it from their father!!!! :shame:
Oh and Relvy, I asked DS2 the other day if his arms were painted on cause he kept asking me to get things for him and he told me 'yup mum they are, so you will have to get my water!!!' :p
