Am I in tune with my body

If conception is to occur at ovulation time, then will you go on throughout your cycle feeling as if you were still getting a period... I mean I know they say when you are close to the end of your cycle you get pmt symptoms and this might be purely because of pmt or you could be pregnant... But within a day or so after ovulation I started getting tender breasts, I am not sure if this is normal, as I have had children before and they were unplanned, I didn't actually notice any signs or symptoms, but because we are trying for a baby I felt like I may be in tune with my body and what it is doing :confused: ... How long after conception can you do a pg test, and is it likely I would sense changes earlier as I have had 2 babies before... :rolleyes:

I feel for you! You so badly want to be pregnant...In regards to pregnancy tests, they vary as to their sensitivity, but it's generally best to wait at least until your period would have been due to test, that way you are less likely to get a fasle reading. Good luck!

I definately noticed tender breasts after ovulation, lasting until I got my period before I had Feix, and when I was pregnant that tenderness just kept going....
I *knew* I was pregnant on the day my period was due (I had really funny cramps- a spot of blood but no more) I did a test, it took ages (like 20 minutes) but showed positive....

I think conception usually takes place a bit after ovulation? depending on how fast the sperm swim lol, but your body doesn't know you're pregnant until the fertilized egg implants, and it usually takes 6-10 days after ovulation for the egg to reach the uterus.
