Dove Star Walk for Breast Cancer research!
Just saw this in todays paper and have decided this is a must event for us (as dh's mum had breast cancer and lost one breast before getting lung cancer and passing away about 5 years ago.

Register now to raise funds for breast cancer research
Saturday evening October 7th 2006 Sydney CBD
Starting at Darling Harbour and winding round a beautiful scenic route through circular quay and past the Opera House, the walk will finish at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Adults are $25 and children under 5 are free, you can also purchase family tickets or team/group tickets for your work or organisation.
A majority of the proceeds is donated to fund the research for prevention and cure of Breast cancer (see the website for the exact amount)
*Event registration marquee opens at 6.45pm
*Warm up with guest celebrities at 7.40pm
*Fireworks at 7.55pm
*1st wave of walkers starts at 8pm
*2nd wave starts at 8.15pm
*Goody bag collection, prizes, refreshments and enertainment at 8.30pm
