Aussie author Kate Minehan has created Minkie Mary the Dummy Fairy (http://www.minkiemary.com/) to help children give up their dummies! This book pack has a cute story to prepare kids for a world without dummies as well as a little pouch to leave their dummy in when they are ready to give it up. As a reward for being big and brave Minkie Mary leaves behind a special toy mouse when she takes the dummy.

My bub was given a dummy in NICU (she was born at 30 + 5 weeks) and I have been looking at ways to ditch it now she is 2. I have bought so many comforters, snuggle toys etc in the hope that she would become attached to something else but the dum (or sometimes 2) is it. Maybe this would work ...
