The Bub Hub Reviewer Panel is now UP AND RUNNING!! :yes: A group of reviewers was selected and will receive their FREE stuff soon. :)

If you'd like to be considered for the next opportunity YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU ANSWER ALL THE EXTRA QUESTIONS IN YOUR PROFILE!

(sorry for the shouting ... :eek:)

To do that you go to 'Forums' then 'User Control Panel' then 'Edit Your Details'.

Scroll down to the last few questions - under the title 'Additional Information (optional info)' and answer all the questions that are titled 'Reviewer Panel' (no one except site administrators will be able to see your answers).

Make sure you answer them all. :yes:

If you haven't signed up, you can head to this same page and tick the box asking if you'd like to be part of the reviewer panel. Then answer all the questions!

Did you scroll half way down the page until you came to this question (then you have to tick 'yes' then answer all the questions underneath...)

Reviewer Panel Would you like to be considered for our Product Review Panel? Members of this Panel may have the opportunity to receive free products, which they will test and submit a review for. If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please select 'yes' and complete ALL the fields below which are PRIVATE and visible to Forum Administrators only. If you select 'yes' at this time, you can opt out of the Review Panel at anytime in the future simply by changing this option in your Profile to 'no'. noyes

Hi Pregnor! Looks like you've ticked the box to say you want to be part of the reviewer panel but haven't gone back to fill in the additional details underneath.

Just head back to User Control Panel > Edit Your Details and then scroll halfway down the page to find the questions ...

They are questions like these and they are to help match products with the right people (your answers can't be seen by anyone except BH administrators)

Reviewer Panel - First Name
Reviewer Panel - Surname
Reviewer Panel - Gender

etc etc

Hi!

Excellent!

Well all your details are up to date ... what happens now is companies will approach us looking for people to review their product. They will all be looking for different types of people. Some might be looking for people with boys aged 2-4, or people trying to conceive, or pregnant women or people with a baby just starting solids etc.

We use your information to help match them to the right people!

So when a product that suits your profile comes up - you'll be sent an email to let you know!

just because i'm feeling a little bit dumb...

i received my products to review a few days ago - do i just review them on the bubhub review page? or write a review and send it somewhere? :o i'm sure it was somewhere in the fine print but i can't remember and i feel kinda silly :laughing:

uh...:eek: i have no idea.

i went 'oooh, cool. sure i'll do that' - didn't look at it again, totally forgot about it, till the package arrived on my doorstep. now i have to go wading through emails to find the information i forgot to read the first time around :rolleyes::laughing:

Hi *Cj* - yep, you're all good to go. This is what happens now ... a company will contact us with a product. They will specify what group of people they need to trial the product (ie. pregnant women, people with babies under 6 months, people with boys aged 3-5 etc etc). If you fit that category you'll be sent an email asking if you'd like to participate. Based on those responses we will chose a group to trial the product!

I is not letting me change my details...i get the message "A required field called Happy to receive information about specific products, services & special offers? is missing or has an invalid value." after hitting the 'save changes' button....help please.

Not sure why it's doing that for you - that shouldn't be a required field, but if you just tick that box and then make your updates to the Reviewer Panel fields and then save the changes that should all work.

You can then go back in and untick the 'Happy....' field and save again.

Thanks for checking with us. It looks like you've answered "YES" when we first asked if anyone was interested.

A few months after that we sent an email to everyone who ticked "YES" - asking them to fill in some extra details in their profile (no one except BH administrators can see these details).

To do this you need to:

1, Log into the forum

2. Go to User Control Panel

3. Go to Edit Your Details

4. Scroll down the page until you see questions labelled Reviewer Panel

5. Fill in all the fields

6. Oh - and can you make sure your email address is up to date. Maybe you didn't get the email that we sent.

Your details look all good.

You'll now only be contacted if the company sending us products for reviews is looking for someone like you (ie they will normally specify who they want to review their products ... they might be looking for people who are trying to conceive, or pregnant women or mothers of preschool aged boys etc - depending on what they have to review).

You'll hear from us when a company approaches us looking for reviewers that fit your description. They normally specify what sort of person they need to do the review (ie. Pregnant women, people trying to conceive, people with babies under 12 months etc... )

Hi! Well your profile is all up to date so it is just a matter of waiting for the next review opportunity to see if you fit the profile they are looking for! For example, they might be looking for pregnant women, or those with small babies or whatever.

Just make sure that your email address is up to date so if you fit the profile we can contact you!

Hi Aussiezahra - congrats on your new bub!

What happens now is that we'll get approached by a company with a product and they'll be looking for a particular type of person to review it (like mums of toddlers or pregnant women etc). If you fit in that category we'll send you an email and ask some more questions to further narrow the field. If you fit the bill then they'll send out the product!

Yep ... so far we've got mums of babies with skin issues reviewing Aveeno products! Is going well!

A glitch in the settings for this thread meant that some of you posted but got told your post needed to be moderated.

I however saw your post as soon as it appeared and I responded. You wouldn't have been able to see your post or the response.

We don't actually contact people when review opportunities arise. We have a section on the forum http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?768-Reviewer-Panel

Keep an eye on this section - or better yet, subscribe to it - to make sure you hear about all review opportunities.

We've had a few big review campaigns but they were looking for a very specific group of people (eg. people who have a baby with excema) so make sure you keep your profile up to date (if you've had a baby recently etc)

We also have smaller review opportunities and if there is a large pool of people to choose from we look favourably on those who have posted reviews in our review section ... http://www.bubhub.com.au/reviews/ (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/../reviews/)
