Hello!
My name is Caila and like many wonderful women around the country I am looking to support and learn from pregnant women in Adelaide for my Bachelor of Midwifery studies.
I am a first-year student and need 6 women over the year to attend at least 3 antenatal appointments or birthing classes, the labour (if you are comfortable with that) and also a postnatal visit. I really don't mind if you're a month away from birthing or 6 months - I need a wide-range of stages and stories to gain experience from. All care will be under the supervision and guidance of another midwife, GP or obstetrician and my role is to observe, learn and support you if you ask.
It is a really hard but exciting time for me as I'm eager to learn as much as you're willing to share with me with as much interaction as you're comfortable with - this is your experience, I'm just asking for you to share it with someone who is excited and passionate about your journey!
