Hi guys,
I posted about this issue, but have since been to a doctor and given a preliminary diagnosis. So excuse me if you have read some of this before, but there is more information now.
I am having pain for two weeks prior to menstruation each cycle, and have been so consistently for about a year. I saw a doctor who feels this is something called Primary Dysmenorrhea. She also said that there is no known cause for Primary dysmenorrhea (secondary is caused by conditions with known organic causes such as endometreosis). I hope she's right as she said this condition is quite harmless. However, there is every chance that she might not be.
Has anyone else had this condition? If so, can you please confirm what she said about the pain still occuring a week before my period means that I am not pregnant this time?
