I know, I am probably the only one excited about this, but here we go!

Growing up, I had gamer parents, My Dad owned 2 pinball machines, and every single console and computer out.
So my sisters and I got the fun of playing with things such as, the Atari and the Commodore 64, and the Amiga.

Much to my delight, a friend posted this to his page.

They are revamping the old systems and bringing them BACK! oh yeah!!!!:smiliedance:

OMG. That means I'll be able to ditch my stupid C64 emulator and play Boulderdash on the real thing again. Woot!

Haha! i personally look forward to playing things like Trolls, and yes even old school Pinball Dreams :P

I wonder if they will make the casing look pretty lol.. make it look a bit more modern. And if they plan on keeping the floppy disk system haha

At least we wont have to wait for 10mins for things to load :D

We had a Commodore 64 and an Atari as kids...

That's all I have to add. lol. I have no desire to go back and play all the silly games I used to play on them as a 5-year-old... my tastes have changed. :p

My C64 eventually stopped working, and we can't find anyone who can repair them anymore.

I've still got our Atari 2600 with original controllers and about 50 games in boxes.

They're just taking up space in the cupboard but I have no idea how much to sell it all for...

You fancy people..we had a VZ200 from **** Smith, and had to load up cassettes to play Pacman..it's not as fun playing it on an iPhone without the joystick, it's just pants. And to play chess, my stoopid Father forced us to write our own programme in basic. Man, we could only dream of having an Atari.

Well. I wasn't going to mention it (as no one seems to ever have heard of them) but I am soooo excited that when my parents moved to Oz they brought with them our old BBC computer and games! It pre-dates the C64...

And I remember writing text adventures in Basic! As well as things like:

10 PRINT "(sister's name) SMELLS"
20 GOTO 10
30 RUN

Ahhh we knew how to live...

Here we go, apparently, it's gonna be a HUGE competitor for the PS3, Xbox and Wii, because it is apparently going to be able to take on the new titles, and play the old classics, on top of some other fancy stuff!

ok all your old schoolers.. can some please tell me what the game was where you had little square blocks stacked up in a triange and a wierd short character with a big nose who you had to manourve down without getting caught by the other thing that used to hunt him? You would do down and the up to get away from him, and if you made it to the bottom you won?
