I don't know but I'm the same, DS is 10 months and my cycle is much longer than pre pregnancy. It used to be every 28 days like clockwork, now it's much longer, about 37ish days.
Mine has only just got regular these last of couple of cycles and DD is 15 months. AF returned after 6 months. In fact these last two have been even more 'normal' than usual with O at CD14 and only 28 days. I usually O late and they last about 31-33!:)

I would love to know too. With my DS1 AF came came back at 8 months and had one 32 days cycle then back to normal 28 days, I breast fed him till he was 2.4 years old.
DS2 AF came back at 5 months and it is EVERYWHERE and driving me bonkers. This current cycle which is my longest yet is up to cd42. I want to start ttcing again in August.Sep and am worried that it won't be back to normal and it will be much harder to fall pregnant than previously. Although I am not prepared to stop breastfeeding.
