View Full Version : BABYLOVE carseats! anyone have one?
safe and sound performed better in the RACV tests done in july. we have safe and sound seats they to me in my opinion are the safest you can buy. babylove meet all the standards but to me are smaller and there fore you wont get as long as you would out of them compared to a safe and sound.

I have a Babylove seat it's only for forward facing though, not convertible.
I'm happy enough with it. It's got 3 recline positions, but to change the position you have to practically take out the whole seat.
and i feel it's actually quite large. (I took my dd with me to the shop and sat her in all the seats and she liked the Babylove the best)
I also have a secure turn a tot which my ds uses and is convertible, I like it better for a small baby, it has 2 recline positions, and you can change the position with the push of a button.
anyway, good luck with the choosing
i have bought the babylove ultimate - still to use it, but it is convertible and big enough to get a lot of use out of it and is suitable for a newborn too. it is very comfy too.
both brands are perfectly safe so would come down to personal preference :D
the company safe and sound are buying out babylove and keeping both ranges, so that says something!!!!
i have a baby love car seat but i havnt been able to use it yet as i cant fit it into my car in the rearward facing position as it touches the front seat but i have kept it so when DS is old enough in a few months i car use it in the forward facing position as i love the look of the seat and cause i was told they are safer then all the other seats
dont know if babylove does but safe and sound make ones that extend(meridian) so the seat grows with the child. although i do like the babylove harvard and ultimate very nice looking:thumbsup:

We have a forward facing Babylove car seat, and a Babylove Capsule and love them both! Never had any problems at all. Nice and secure.
We have a Babylove and a Safe n Sound. The Babylove is definately bigger, so be careful as we can only just fit it into out Ford Falcon. Overall I prefer the Babylove, they just seem more comfortable. I'm having a few issues with the strap adjustment on the Safe n Sound at the moment too. They are pretty much of a muchness though.
