Clothie Help

Ok so I have been converted. We got the Bambino Mio package but now I am after boosters to make it last the night.
They are a prefold.
I have been told hemp and bamboo are the best but cant seem to source it anywhere.
Can I make them myself it looks simple enough.
Where do i find the suitable materials and what is suitable?
Can I also make more covers?.....as i just want a cute butt on my boy:D

Now I'm no sewing genius so can't help there,
but my bamboo boosters and my covers, PUL and wool soakers, came from
Babybeehinds (http://www.babybeehinds.com.au)
they also stock hemp boosters too.
