Egg Donor Sought
I started on the IVF program when I was 37 years old, soon after getting married. My husband and I are very disappointed that I have been unable to conceive. Now that I am 43 years old our only hope is to find an egg donor. We live in Melbourne and are a caring and devoted couple, and we would dearly love to have a child. Your generosity in donating your eggs will be a dream come true for us. If you are in your late 20s to mid 30s and are willing to help us, we would love to hear from you. All travel and medical expenses will be reimbursed. Please email us at stephany37@optusnet.com.au.

Would you like to be part of our journey?

In year 1999 we decided to try and have a family and my DH had a vasectomy reversal. We tried for at least 6 months and nothing and we were then referred to Monash IVF for further examinations. They found that I had tubal blockage as well as endometriosis which has caused me not falling pregnant. So the IVF journey begins in year 2000 till 2005 numerous cycles each year without success.

In December ’05 was our last cycle with our own eggs, also unsuccessful. Our Dr advised us that we should seriously consider egg donor and that will be our only hope of becoming parents. At the time, I was truly over with trying again and again with my own eggs and was looking forward to seeking an Egg Donor. We were advertising at the time through Child Magazine in all states of Australia and our special lady from Queensland made contact via email. It was amazing just by reading the email there was an immediate link. So, we communicated for a while and then in April of this year the process commenced. She had previously donated anonymously and this was her first known donor/recipient relationship. It was very special for both of us.

Some of you may prefer anonymous donor. We believe a known donor is the best thing ever that has happened to us as a family. It has given us a new meaning to our journey in becoming parents. I personally including my DH would find it very difficult now not to know or meet the donor and her family. It is important to meet and form an honest and trusting relationship.

Our journey with our egg donor was unsuccessful and our special lady was unable to continue her journey with us because of health reasons.

The very thought of never being able to become a mother just terrifies me. I cannot imagine remaining childless and my DH feels very sympathetic towards that prospect and he remains helpless but continues to be supportive and by my side. We are a very committed and loving couple and we so dearly want to have our child like so many families who are experiencing the joy of having children and seeing them grow up.

So, we are now advertising in the October issue of Child Magazine and advertising in the Forums (Bub Hub, Essential Baby and AED).

We would love to hear from you if you would like to fulfill our dream and be part of our journey.

Love to all
Stephanie
