View Full Version : How many disposables for new born?
I saw on eBay some v good nappy deals fir new born ... How many is too many to buy? I hv 80
Disposables now.. Should get more??
Um it was years ago now. ... She was prem but i bought heaps in advance of prem nappies and she grew.... Just like had heaps of walker ones and she decides not to need them anymore. I changed her every 3 hours as a minimum in the beginning. Hope that helps.
I went through that in about a week. That said you don't know how big bub will be so I wouldn't buy a mountain of newborn size in case you need bigger. Personally I use snugglers after the first week or 2 because their small size lasts a while(ds is coming up on 3 months and still in a small).

DS was 4.2kg at birth and we used 1 box and 1 bag of newborn huggies then he went straight into the crawler size (it left me with a spare box of newborn and I didn't have a reciept for it and noone would swap it, so it was a waste of like $35)
DS was 2.9kg's when born and we had 3 boxes of newborn huggies. ended up needing about 6 boxes on newborn in all as he was a small boy.
DS is almost 5 months now and is just fitting into crawlers.
