Question/recommendation about fertility assessment

Hi All - this is my first post so sorry if it is in the wrong place or anything -

I am interested to get advice/suggestions/recommendations about a doctor/obgyn to do an assessment for fertility for me. I don't want to commence any treatment yet as we have only been TTC for 3 months - I have really long/irregular cycles since coming off LT contraception 6 months ago and am concerned that I am not ovulating. I really just want to get an assessment to find out what is going on...any suggestions and ideas? I live on northside of Brisbane...

Hello,

Rather than finding FS, I think you should go to your GP first and ask for Day 21 test. This test will confirm if you O. As soon as your period starts, on day 3 do the FSH,LH and estrogen test.

Your GP will tell you if you O by assessing the results of Day 21 test.

Sorry to butt in, but is it cd3 you have the test-no matter your cycle length? I have the thingy for the bt but dr didn't say when to get it done.
I am curious too cos we are north Brisbane and we have just passed 5 months, due to dh age etc dr wants to start investigations now.
