Hi ladies

Im really looking to see if there are any Mums to be out there that are interested in getting together?

Im expecting my first baby in July and I dont have any family here, I have some friends but non have babies/families and im just struggling a bit really. Would love to meet with any mums to be around the Cheltenham, Melb area, to talk about babies, girly things and just someone to be my friend who is in a similar situation really. I know I sound really sad but im hoping there is someone out there as sad as me so we can support each other and maybe our babies can be friends! I worry so much about my baby not getting to know other babies because his silly Mum doesnt have any friends!

Don't panic. I was in the same boat and your MCH nurse will hook you up with a heap of new mums in the area once you have your baby. Also check out the ABA, they'll have meetings near you and you can go along and meet local mums.

Hi Lindsay!

Yep, I know the feeling! I'm Kiwi, expecting my first bub in August, all my family is in NZ and none of the few friends I've made since moving here last August have kids or are even remotely on the kid track, if you know what I mean! I don't know where Cheltenham is, but I'm in Mount Waverley (south east Melbourne).

hi

im almost in the same boat as you too, baby is due in 6 weeks and we are from new zealand. But as i have a 21 month old as well i havent gotten out to meet anyone much. we tried play goup for while but the mums were very clicky and it made it hard to want to stay. I am in berwick which is also in the south east of melbourne.
