Symptoms before BFP?

Hi guys,

I'm not yet a graduate of the IVF process, in another infernal TWW but just wondering if those of you who have got your BFP's could share whether you had noticeable symptoms (and what they were) before your BT or whether you felt relatively normal. Also if you could say when symptoms did start if it didn't happen in your TWW that would be good to know too!

TWW's freak me out because I always feel too "normal". I keep thinking I'll FEEL pregnant, so I guess I'm looking for some reassurance that you don't HAVE to feel a multitude of strong symptoms to get a BFP.

The first time I felt like AF was coming as I just had a sore back. The second time I felt nothing at all. I never had sore boobs or stretching or anything.

Thanks pumpernickel :) makes me feel a bit better cos I've had a bit of a sore back too in the last 2 days (probably just deluding myself though)!!

Fingers crosssed. Any other ladies willing to share their symptoms (or lackthereof if that's the case) would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi,

I did a hpt at 10dpo and it was negative. The next day I got major AF/back pain and went on to get my BFP. I remember alot of cramping leading up to my natural bfp's too. HTH. All the best.:babydust1::babydust1:

Not IVF sorry but thought I'd share my pre-BFP symptoms.

First pregnancy no early symptoms. Second pregnancy noticeable baby brain, forgetting words, clumsy, dropping things everywhere etc. Third pregnancy explosive diarrhoea, period-like cramping and really sore boobs!

In all my ivf attempts, and I did many, I got cramps in the second part of the 2ww. With this BFP I had the same cramps so assumed it was going to be a BFFN and to my surprise I saw 2 beautiful strong pink lines when I peed on the stick. I honestly think all the meds us ivfers are on can drive our minds crazy, well it did for me.

Unfortunately you just need to try and stay relaxed during this time and wait until you can do a home test or wait for the blood test and pray an awful lot :babydust1:

I'm 10 weeks pregnant with twins and sometimes I don't feel pregnant, it's normal hun, especially in my 2ww I certainly didn't feel pregnant at the time.

Thanks guys, it's amazing how everyones experience differs so much, but so far it seems like most people don't necessarily "feel" pregnant before a +ive BT though. I hope that's the case for me so much. I'm waiting it out because I'm a serial non-POAS-er and just can't bear the disappointment of it, my BT is on saturday, so fingers crossed I guess!

Anyone else willing to share would be great :)

ooohhh i got so confused by the crinone and side effects etc etc . . . i could pretty much talk myself into or out of SO MANY symptoms !!!!

There was really nothing noticeable for me, just a few light cramps.

Hehe i love it when people say there was nothing really noticeable. It makes me feel like I still have some hope!

All I've got is intermittently sore boobs which would be from the double dose of crinone i'm on I'm guessing. They started hurting a few days after my transfer and around 7 or 8 days after I started crinone.

I am almost 37 weeks pg from a natural FET (just used pessaries). I didn't get any symptoms at all. Not even sore (.)(.) so I convinced myself that it was going to be a BFN as with my full stim ICSI cycle I had a whole bunch of symptoms. Was also a BFP but ended in a early m/c. Every pg is different. I still didn't feel pg until about 20 weeks.

The TWW is so hard. I really hope you get your BFP this time. How long till your BT?

BFN for me guys :( guess i didn't have symptoms because I wasn't pg.. and the sore boobs must have been from the crinone after all.
