Crazy Critters cafe get together.

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for Mums/Dads or soon to be Mums who live around the Lakes District areas (Forest Lakes, Springfield Lakes, Brookwaters, Springfield, Camira, e.t.c) who would like to get together and have a chat. I was thinking we could all go to the Crazy Critters Cafe at Forest Lakes (one of the winners for the Business Achievers Award for 2005). If you don't live in the Lakes district area but would still like to come then keep me posted. There is no gender or age limit so if your 16 or 60, if your a stay at home mum or soon to be mum, or a stay at home dad it doesn't matter whoever would like to come is welcome. I was thinking of making it Saturday the 1st of October, but please give me an idea on what date your free?

I dont know where the crazy critters cafe is though- is it part of the forest lake shopping centre??? or is it seperate???

DH works on weekends so I'm always looking for things to do.
Is this place toddler friendly? I have a 2.5yr old who I will have with me and he just doesn't like to sit still. I am also expecting #2 in early Nov.
Looking foward to meeting a few new people :cool:

It's defintely toddler friendly. The Cafe has all sorts of play equipment to entertain the kids while the parents can enjoy a relaxing cuppa :D. They have Jumping Castle, Slides, Tubes and more.

WOW A Saturday get together!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't know how happy this makes me. I just posted about trying to organise a saturday playgroup, I work full time and never got to go to playgroups or other mum and bub meetings. Troy is a stay at home dad, but isn't keen on the playgroup thing.

Im at Boronia Heights, only 15mins from Forest Lake, so me and Jayden will be there. I will try to drag troy along!!!! What time were you thinking???

My sister has a little boy as well he's 8mths, Can I bring them??? They wouldn't be able to make it before 11am - Cody goes swimming on Sat.

Hey everyone,

I took my son Iwan to Crazy Critters yesterday with my husband because he had the day off. Iwan had a ball he ran around like a little mad man. Jumping on the jumping castle and running through the mazes. He absolutely loved it. While I was there I spoke to the manger to let her know there was going to be a bub hub get together on the 1st. So we now have a booking and she is going to reserve a table for us all.

The entry fee for the kids is

0-11mnths - Free
12mnths - 23mnths - $5.00 Unlimited hrs $3.00 1hr
2 - 10yrs - $9.50 Unlimited hrs $6.00 1hr
Adults free

Can't wait to see you all there :D

whew!!! lucky I logged on tonight... with the preggers brains and my baby shower happening on Sunday I had actually FORGOTTEN about this gathering!!!!!

I better find a pen and write myself a note!!!! (it really is sad that senility sets in!!!!! I hope my brain power returns when I settle down with bubs!!!! - I am even starting to confuse the names of kids in my class!!!! )
